Performance Objectives

A Performance Object tells how the lesson will be learned and how it will be assessed. It contains the activities that will be performed and how summative and formative assessments will be conducted. The objective must be observable, have measurable criteria and show what conditions the task will be completed.

An example of a performance objective might be:

"Students will understand the definition of a rubric, how to create one and why we use a rubric in performance evaluations. They will engage in utilizing online resources to develop their own rubric."
