Interactive learning is a student-centered environment in which students are give the tools to participate in their own learning. It may involve interactivity of student and content, student and student or student and technology.

By creating this type of learning community students are motived and are more successful. It allows for collaboration with peers and the instructor. While teacher presence is known, interactive learning is focused on collaboration and engagement.
