INTRO TO MEDIA LITERACY ACTIVITIES

Activities for the online learning classroom are designed to engage visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners by having reading material, videos, blog activities and written assignments.

LEARNER INSTRUCTIONS

Each week articles or videos will be attached to the assignment. Read the articles and watch the videos. Use the information gained to participate and respond to the Discussion Questions in the LMS classroom.

  1. Explain media literacy.

  2. How can we be assured media content is truthful and reliable? What forms of media are considered modern media and why?

  1. Create an online Wix Blog page. Track and evaluate two forms of media you engage in daily for three days. What message or call to action did you see? How do you think the content was crafted to achieve the desired results?
